Your fit level
Possible fit
This is a quick guide to how well businesses like yours match what buyers currently look for. It isn't a valuation, offer or guarantee. Only a buyer's written offer counts.
How it works
Data licensing means giving an AI developer permission to use copies of your business records under a written contract, in return for payment.
- Fill in the 2-minute form. No files, no logins.
- We review it and tell you honestly if it looks like a fit.
- If you want to go ahead, we introduce you to a buyer. They assess your records and may make an offer.
- You decide. You sign directly with the buyer, and the data goes straight from you to them. We never touch it.
Takes about 2 minutes. No files or logins needed.
What usually qualifies
- Australian businesses with 20+ staff (more in some industries) and several years of records
- Records kept in cloud tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Xero or job management software
- Trading businesses, businesses closing or retiring, and companies in administration or liquidation (the appointed liquidator or administrator can enquire)
- Industries in demand include legal, accounting, finance, logistics, construction, healthcare admin and IT
Privacy first
Is my data safe?
- Deregistered companies, or records you don't have the right to share, are excluded
- Records you can't legally share because of client confidentiality, legal privilege or contract terms are excluded
- Buyers typically require personal and sensitive information removed or de-identified before anything is licensed. Their contract sets out exactly how
- You stay in control. You approve every step and can say no at any point

Why we do this
I'm Lachlan Warren, ex-Navy and director of Hop2it Digital. I started this to help Australian business owners get value from records they've already paid to create. We're upfront about how we're paid.
Who we are
Hop2it Digital is a veteran-owned and operated Australian digital agency based in Brisbane. We work with established Australian businesses every day. With this service we act as a referrer only. We don't buy, store or resell anyone's data.

FAQ
Takes about 2 minutes. No files or logins needed.
Is Hop2it a data broker?
Not quite. A data broker buys and resells data. We're an Australian referrer: we connect your business with established AI data buyers, and you deal with them directly. We never hold your data.
What kind of data do AI companies want?
Usually real day-to-day business records, such as emails, documents, chat logs, job and project records, and sometimes code or call recordings. Each buyer has its own needs, and we'll tell you if yours looks like a fit.
How much is my data worth?
It depends on your industry, size, years of records and what's included. Any figure you hear early on is an estimate, not an offer. Only a buyer's written offer counts.
Does it cost me anything?
No. If you go ahead, the buyer pays our referral fee. We'll tell you how it works for your buyer before any introduction.
Does Hop2it see or handle my data?
No. You deal with the buyer directly, and the data goes straight from you to them under your contract.
What about my clients' and staff's privacy?
Buyers typically remove or de-identify personal information before use, and you should only share what you're legally allowed to. We recommend getting your own legal advice before you sign anything.
My company is in liquidation. Can it still take part?
Possibly. The appointed liquidator or administrator usually controls the company's records, so they're the right person to enquire.
Takes about 2 minutes. No files or logins needed.
